2022 Rodeo Highlights

June 17th, 2022 is the Billy Evins Memorial Roping and Barrel Racing. This is a must for Malheur County contestants in order to qualify for the local roping and barrel racing events in the rodeo this year. Please remember that contestants wanting to compete in these particular events must be a current Malheur County residents.

Week of Vale 4th of July Rodeo 

WEDNESDAY,  June 29th–  is the annual Grand Marshal Rodeo Banquet. The menu consists of hamburgers, hot dogs, and chorizos. The cost for the banquet is $5 per person and ages 5 and under are FREE! Come join with us as we kick off the rodeo week and celebrate our rodeo and honor our 2022 Grand Marshals yet to be announced.

FRIDAY- July 1st,  **1st PERFORMANCE***

Pre-rodeo begins at 7pm

Grand Entry begins at 7:45pm

Main Rodeo Entertainment at 8pm

SATURDAY, July 2nd   **2nd PERFORMANCE**

Pre-rodeo begins at 7pm

Grand Entry begins at 7:45pm

SUNDAY, July 3rd   **3rd PERFORMANCE** – PINK NIGHT

Pre-rodeo begins at 7pm

SUICIDE RACE at 8pm – COME EARLY in order to get a seat or spot to watch this spectacular race.

Grand Entry begins at 8:15pm

Main Rodeo Entertainment at 8:30pm

MONDAY, July 4th   **4TH AND FINAL PERFORMANCE**

Vale 4th of July Parade 5pm – Begins at the high school, down Yakima St, continues along A St. and ends at the Vale City Pool.

Pre-rodeo begins at 7pm

Queen’s Coronation 7:30pm

Grand Entry begins at 7:45pm

Main Rodeo Entertainment at 8pm

Tickets/season passes will be available at Malheur Drug, Mal’s Diner, and Dentinger’s Feed & Seed.   Adult Season Pass – $30

Child Season Pass – $18

Adult One Day Pass – $10

Child One Day Pass (6-11 years) – $6

5 and Under – Free
